Tusiime Pauline is a dedicated legal officer at the Centre for Food and Adequate Living Rights (CEFROHT), where she plays a pivotal role in advancing socio-economic rights, particularly the right to adequate food. She oversees the CEFROHT Legal Aid Clinic, ensuring the provision of pro bono legal services to underserved rural communities in Uganda. Her work focuses on empowering individuals through legal education and representation while fostering a culture of accountability in food and nutrition governance.

Beyond her legal practice, Tusiime is actively involved in mentoring young lawyers through fellowships and facilitating the formation of Food and Law Clubs. These initiatives aim to cultivate a new generation of legal professionals committed to advocating for healthy diets and sustainable food systems. As a researcher, Tusiime explores diverse legal and policy issues, including Geographical Indications, the right to adequate food, and East African agroecology laws.
