Naisanga Sarah is the Program Manager for the Advocacy, Partnerships, and Campaigns program at the Center for Food and Adequate Living Rights (CEFROHT). She oversees strategic initiatives aimed at influencing policies, amplifying community voices, and fostering partnerships to drive systemic change in food justice and equitable access to nutrition.
With a strong commitment to human rights, Sarah coordinates national, community, and digital campaigns addressing critical barriers to the realization of the right to adequate food. She has spearheaded projects promoting safe and nutritious food for all, with a particular emphasis on gender equity and social inclusion. Her work bridges grassroots advocacy with legal expertise, empowering marginalized communities to demand equitable food systems and advocate for inclusive policy reforms.
An influential voice in food rights advocacy, Sarah has represented CEFROHT on regional and national platforms, contributing to policy discussions and legal frameworks. She also leads capacity-building workshops for communities, media practitioners, and legal professionals, strengthening their ability to advance food justice.
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Center in Uganda. She is an active member of the Uganda Law Society and the Agroecology Legal Network for Africa (ALENAF), where she continues to champion legal and policy reforms for sustainable food systems.
Through her leadership, she remains dedicated to shaping advocacy that upholds dignity and justice for all.
