Monica Nabyonga is a dedicated Communications Officer at the Centre for Food and Adequate Living Rights (CEFROHT), where she combines her expertise in media and communications with a steadfast commitment to human rights. Holding a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, she spent nearly five years refining her skills in mainstream media before transitioning into the field of communications, where she has thrived for the past two years.

Driven by a passion for sustainable agricultural systems and food safety, Monica actively advocates for a healthier and more secure food environment in Uganda. She places great emphasis on engaging directly with farmers, listening to their challenges, and ensuring their voices are amplified in policy and public discourse. Her work at CEFROHT reflects her unwavering belief in community empowerment and her vision of a more equitable, food-secure future for all Ugandans.

Through her strategic communication efforts, Monica continues to bridge gaps between policymakers, stakeholders, and local communities, fostering meaningful change in Uganda’s agricultural and food rights landscape.
