Babirye Moureen is a seasoned finance and administration professional currently serving as the Senior Accountant at CEFROHT. In this role, she oversees the implementation of financial policies and procedures, budgeting, audits, financial reporting, and ensuring organizational statutory compliance.

With over eight years of practical experience across banking, economic development, and accounting, she has honed her expertise in financial management and institutional development. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Development Economics and is further advancing her qualifications by pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance and Accounting. Additionally, she has enrolled for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification to strengthen her professional credentials.

Before joining CEFROHT, Babirye gained extensive hands-on experience through her previous roles at Uganda’s Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, Post Bank Uganda, Vision Group, and IPSOS. Her diverse background spans accounting, financial reconciliation, procurement, statutory compliance, customer service, and research, equipping her with a well-rounded skill set in finance and administration.
