Request for Proposal (RFP)

Subject: Request for Proposal No. 2024-06 Entitled “Towards an Effective Regulatory Framework for Front-of-Package Warning Labelling and Restriction of Marketing of Unhealthy Diets and SSBs in Uganda”

Dear Sir/Madam,

You are kindly invited to submit a technical and financial proposal for CEFROHT’s project on promoting the enactment of Front-of-Pack Warning Labeling (FOPWL) regulations in Uganda and initiating groundwork for a comprehensive food policy framework to support a Nutrient Profiling Model (NPM) by the end of September 2025. This RFP, No. 2024-06 (including appendices), hereafter referred to as the Project, outlines the scope of work.

Key Terms & Conditions:

  1. Costs incurred by respondents in preparing proposals or negotiating contracts are non-reimbursable.
  2. The Project reserves the right to accept any proposal without further discussion.
  3. Only proposals from licensed firms or qualified personnel capable of implementing and completing the work will be evaluated.
  4. The selected consultant must demonstrate the ability to fulfill the assignment as outlined in the Statement of Work.
